Contacts
Search and filter your contacts, open a contact's full history, edit their details, add a contact by hand, mark Do Not Call, and turn search results into a list.
Using the Contacts search filters, opening a contact to see their calls, texts and emails, editing details and custom attributes, adding a contact with the plus button, setting Do Not Call, Text or Email, and creating a list from search results.
A contact is one person you call, text or email. The Contacts page lets you search every contact in your account, and each contact has its own page showing their details, tags, Do Not Call status and full call, text and email history.
Before you start
- Contacts usually come from an import, an integration or leads sent in by webhook. You can also add one by hand (below).
- Your role controls what you can see and change. Some roles hide certain fields, such as email or phone. See Team members.
Search for contacts
- Click Contacts in the top navigation. The Contacts Advance Searches page opens.
- Fill in one or more filters. Which filters you see depends on your account. Common ones are name, email, phone, company, title, location and tags, plus any custom attributes set up as search filters.
- Click Search.
- Click Reset to clear every filter.
Text filters match the start of a value. Searching Jo finds "John" and "Jones", but not "Major". Range filters have a minimum and a maximum, and date filters have a from and a to date.
The results table shows Name, Company, Address, Email, Phone, Tags and Created On. Your filters are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark a search or send the link to a teammate.

- Custom attributes: every other field stored on the contact.
- Calls: each call with its outcome and a Transcript link.
- SMS and Emails: the contact's message history.

Common questions
I imported someone twice. Do I have two contacts? Usually not. Bigly matches imported rows to existing contacts by email or phone and updates the existing contact. See Importing contacts.
Can I delete a contact? Yes, from the list it belongs to: open the list and click Delete on the contact's row. See Lists.
Why can't I see a contact's phone number? Your role may hide it. Ask an admin.
