Team members
Invite teammates to your Bigly account, add many at once, set their roles and permissions, edit their phone numbers and remove people who leave.
Opening Members, inviting a teammate by email, bulk-adding members from a spreadsheet, choosing a role, creating a custom role with chosen permissions and hidden contact fields, editing a member's phone and removing a member.
The Members page lists everyone who can sign in to your company's Bigly account, plus anyone you've invited who hasn't joined yet. From here you add people, set what they're allowed to do and remove them when they leave.
Before you start
- Open the page from the user menu: click your initials, then Members. You can also click + in the top bar, then New Member.
- You need permission to manage users to add or edit members. Only the account owner can remove members.
The Members page with the Add New Member and Add Bulk Member buttons, and the table of members showing avatar, name, title, role, email, phone with an Edit button, and status (Active or Pending).
Invite a teammate
- Click Add New Member.
- Enter their email address.
- Click Send Invite. You see Invitation has been successfully sent!
The person gets an email with a link to join. They choose their own password when they accept. Until then, they show as Pending. If they lose the email, invite the same address again; this sends a fresh link.
If the address already belongs to a member, you see This email is already registered.
If your account uses its own branded sign-in page, Add New Member asks for a Name and Email instead, and the button is Create User. The account is created straight away and you see Team member added successfully!
Add many members at once
Add Bulk Member is available on some accounts. Contact support to turn it on.
- Make a CSV or XLSX file with an
emailcolumn and anamecolumn. Names must be at least three characters. - Click Add Bulk Member.
- Drag the file into the box or click browse, then upload it.
Files can be up to 5 MB. Only the first 200 rows are read, so split bigger teams into several files. Rows with a missing email or a short name are skipped and listed as errors.
Set a member's role
A role decides what a member can see and do.
- Find the member in the table.
- Choose a role from their Role dropdown. It saves straight away.
You can't change your own role or the owner's.
Advanced roles and permissions
Some accounts have advanced roles, where each role carries a set of permissions that Bigly enforces. Advanced roles aren't on every account. Contact support to turn them on. On these accounts the owner's row shows Owner, and other rows show the role name with an Edit button.
The built-in roles are:
| Role | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Super admin | Everything. The account owner always has full access. |
| Admin | Everything except billing and deleting the account. |
| Manager | Like Admin, but can't change account settings or use the AI assistant connection (MCP). |
| Agent | Day-to-day work with contacts, lists, calls and messages. Can't manage users, AI settings, account settings or billing. |
| Viewer | Can look but not change anything. |
To change a role or build your own:
- Click Edit next to the member's role.
- Choose Assign Existing Role and pick a role from Select Role, or choose Create New Role and enter a Role Name.
- Tick the Permissions the role should have.
- Under Contact Field Visibility, tick any contact fields to hide from people with this role. Checked fields are masked for them. This section isn't shown on every account.
- Click Save.
Built-in roles are read-only. To give someone a different mix of permissions, create a new role.
New members may start with full access. Set the right role as soon as they join.
The roles dialog with the Assign Existing Role and Create New Role options, the Permissions checklist grouped by area, and the Contact Field Visibility section.
Edit a member's phone number
- Click Edit in the member's phone column.
- Enter the number and click the tick to save.
You can't edit the phone of someone who's still Pending.
Remove a member
- Click the delete icon at the end of the member's row.
- Click Delete to confirm.
The person can no longer sign in to this company account. You can't remove yourself or the account owner. Removing a pending invite cancels it.
Common questions
Can one person belong to several companies? Yes. They switch between them from Switch Company in the user menu.
Who can see Billing? Members whose role includes billing access. On accounts with advanced roles, that's Super admin among the built-in roles, plus the account owner.
