Running an AI call campaign from the Calls page

Create a call list from tagged contacts, start an AI blast with an intro and concurrency, read the pre-start checks, pause and resume, set a daily schedule, and read the attempt results and the API Leads summary.

The Calls page is where you run outbound calling. Each row is a call list: a group of contacts you picked with tags and filters. From a call list you can start an AI blast, where your AI agent calls every contact on the list, or open the power dialer to call the contacts yourself.

The same page shows a summary of API Leads, the leads that arrive from your website, ad platforms or other systems and get called automatically.

Before you start

Create a call list

  1. Go to Calls in the top navigation.
  2. Click New Call List. The audience screen opens.
  3. Choose who to call. Use Select Tags (switch between AND and OR to decide whether contacts need all the tags or any of them), and narrow down by State, City, Title or Company.
  4. Check the contacts in the list. Tick the box at the top to select everyone who matches, or tick contacts one by one. Selected Contacts shows the total.
  5. Click Create Call List.
  6. If you have more than one phone number, pick the number to call from.

The new call list appears on the Calls page and opens on its own page.

Safety checks when you create a list

If you don't pick any tag or filter, Bigly asks you to confirm before using every contact in your account. Very large audiences also ask for a second confirmation. If you submit the same list twice within a few minutes, the second request is refused so you don't call people twice.

Start an AI blast

  1. On the Calls page, find your call list and click the play button (Start AI Blast). You can also open the list and click Start AI Blast there.
  2. Choose the intro the agent should use, and the concurrency (how many calls run at the same time).
  3. Read the checks Bigly shows. Errors in red must be fixed before you can start, for example an intro that is missing its first sentence or inbound number. Warnings in yellow, such as missing working hours or contacts without ZIP codes, let you continue.
  4. Confirm to start. The Activity column changes to show the blast is running.

Calls only go out inside your working hours and the allowed calling hours for each contact's state. Outside those hours the blast waits and picks up again when the window opens. See Calling hours.

Pause, resume or cancel

Use the round buttons in the Actions column, or the buttons on the call list's own page:

ButtonWhat it does

Pause AI BlastStops placing new calls. Calls already in progress finish.
Resume AI BlastContinues a paused blast.

DeleteDeletes the call list. This can't be undone.

Every action asks you to confirm first.

Schedule daily calling

  1. Click Schedule (the calendar button) on a call list, or Configure Blast on its page.
  2. In Configure daily blast schedule, set the dates and the times the blast should run each day.
  3. Save.

You can also see and edit these schedules on the Scheduled blasts page.

Read the results

Click a call list's name to open it. The top shows Ready to Call, the number of Entries, the tags used to build the list and the creation date. Below, Call Blast Sequence lists each attempt with its intro and these numbers:

NumberMeaning
Call AttemptedCalls placed in this attempt.
Total Answered / Answered by HumanCalls that connected, and those a person (not voicemail) answered.
Meeting bookedCalls where the agent booked an appointment.
SMS SendCalls where the agent sent the lead a text.
Call TransferredCalls transferred to your team.
Hit Buffer / Not Hit BufferTransfers that lasted long enough to count, and those that dropped early. See Call transfers.
Not Picked UpTransfers your team didn't pick up, split by reason: User Hung Up, Agent Not Answered, SIP Error or Unclassified.
ConcurrencyHow many calls ran at once.

Click View Contact Details to see each contact on the list and call them with the power dialer.

API leads

The API Leads box on the Calls page shows how many new leads arrived through your integrations. Click View Details to open API Lead Details, which breaks results down by call attempt (1st, 2nd and so on). Pick a date range of up to 60 days, use Filter by, and click Export CSV to download the numbers. Besides the call results above, this page shows Leads, Billable Min, Total Cost, Cost per Lead and Cost per Hit Buffer.

How these leads are called is set by your first-day follow-up. To send leads in, see Lead webhooks.

Troubleshooting

The blast is running but no calls are going out. You're probably outside your working hours or the contact's allowed hours. Check Calling hours. Calls can also be blocked by compliance checks; see Compliance overview.

I can't start the blast. Fix the red errors in the start window. Most come from an incomplete intro.

No contacts matched this audience, so nothing was sent. Your tags and filters don't match any contacts. Remove a filter or check your tags.
